Born in South Texas to a science nerd and artist. Lived in Texas with the most fun environment and creative sister. I have the biggest immediate family you’ve ever seen which nurtured my people skills and imagination. When I turned 20, I decided to go for it and moved to LA.
Quick trip down memory lane…
I started to sew at 8 years old, started sketching designs at 12, then at 18 I didn’t pay enough attention in college to become a marine biologist because I was doodling nonstop. That’s when I knew my passion was the arts and creating. I had my eye on L.A. and went for it. During my 2 years in fashion school I started and ran a website design studio. After I graduated, I hooked my first job at adidas as a footwear illustrator and worked my way up to Global Design Director of Apparel and Innovation.
After a decade I decided to go solo and work with other brands, expand my experiences, knowledge and network. I also started 4 companies in the health product space along side my freelancing day-to-day. After selling a very successful brand I moved back to Texas with my husband and young son to be closer to family.
I know I have lots more to offer in the creative space, innovation realm and with passionate teams.
Cheers to design.
It all starts with an idea.
